System Upgrade - V2.0.2 simpleERB

As of May 2026, simpleERB V2.0.2 has been deployed to the live system. This system upgrade offers a range of new features outlined below and some improvements.

Online booking widget

A fresh, modern, intuitive design has been implemented with an updated code snippet for a floating button on your website. Using an embedded code snippet, customers remain on your website during the booking process.

Using a widget URL, we now provide a landing page for customers to make their booking. Helpful for users without a website hosting domain and using a hyperlink for bookings.

New Widget Features:

  • Customisable widget design to reflect your branding.
  • Bookable areas with availability display (enable/disable as desired)
  • Selectable widget language options
  • Improved visibility for selectable booking options (fixed menus/events)
  • Ability for customers to add themselves to an online waitlist
  • Multi-venue selection for groups/chains via a single booking widget
  • Selectable widget language options

Booking Management Updates

Customer self-booking amendments/edits via the online widget. This includes additional payment handling requests for changes, if applicable.

Voucher/ gift code creation and management (enable/disable as desired). Applicable to phone and online bookings to record the details.

System Upgrades

  • Code improvements to AWS
  • Dark mode for optimised visibility
  • Security username enhancements
  • Security updates for spam/bot bookings
  • Improvement to main menu and settings display
  • UI enhancement for Diary and booking buttons
  • Upgrade to Table Layout view for easier configuration and table management
