Most booking forms just show availability. They don’t let you manage the rate at which covers are booked. simpleERB lets you set a maximum cover count for any time slot, service or day, so what customers see online reflects what your kitchen can actually handle.
If your kitchen runs comfortably at 10 covers per 15 min timeslot, that’s what the online restaurant reservation system offers. Once the cap is hit, the slot closes.
This applies per time slot, per service and per date. A busy Saturday lunch can have different rules to a quiet midweek dinner. You set the limits; the system enforces them.

Table ranking is one of simpleERB’s most useful features for restaurants that run at high capacity. You set a preference order for your tables; the system follows it every time a booking comes in.
It works in two ways. By default, simpleERB fills tables in the order you’ve ranked them, keeping your larger or more prominent tables free until they’re actually needed. By cover count, it matches the booking size to the most appropriately sized table first. A party of two won’t be seated at a table of eight if a two-top is available. A group of six won’t be squeezed into a spot better suited for four.
The practical effect: fewer wasted covers, fewer situations where a walk-in can’t be seated because the wrong tables were taken earlier in the service.
