How does the Epos Now booking integration work?
Streamline your service with the Epos Now booking integration.
If your restaurant uses Epos Now as your Point of Sale (POS) system, you can integrate it with simpleERB to create a seamless transition from customer arrival to order entry.
How the Integration Works
The integration triggers automatically when you mark a booking or walk-in as 'seated' in simpleERB:
- Auto-Opening Bills: Marking a customer as 'seated' in simpleERB automatically opens the corresponding bill on your Epos Now till.
- Staff Efficiency: Your team can proceed directly to taking orders without manually searching for or opening the table bill.
- Booking Details: While the systems remain separate (with their own distinct customer databases), staff can view booking information directly within the Epos Now interface.
Accessing simpleERB via Epos Now
If staff need to check specific booking notes, preferences, or selections, they can access the simpleERB diary directly from the till interface by:
- Clicking the simpleERB 'action button' on the till screen.
- Selecting the simpleERB app from the till’s menu bar.
Payments and Settlements
Important Payment Note: Deposits or prepayments taken via simpleERB are not automatically deducted in Epos Now. You must manually account for these payments on your POS bill. However, once a bill is paid in Epos Now, the final total is recorded back into the simpleERB booking for your reporting records.
