How to split your opening hours in simpleERB for service sittings
How to set up your opening hours if you close during the day.
If your restaurant closes during the day (e.g., between lunch and dinner service) or if you wish to block off your simpleERB account for a specific period on a certain day, you can split your opening service hours within the open/close times setting.
Configuring split hours
Navigate to your open/close times setting.
At the bottom of the page, you can define your open/close times for the first part of the day, then add a second set of open/close times for the remainder of the day. The system will only make the specific time slots you have added available for bookings.
Note: In your diary view, the non-bookable time slots between your service sittings will appear as 'manager only' bookings. Ensure your last booking time and closing time do not conflict with your 'table back by' settings.
Advanced settings and reporting
You can also define specific service sittings (e.g., Lunch, Dinner, Pre-theatre, Afternoon Tea). This allows you to pull dedicated reports and view booking data specifically for those periods, helping you clearly track covers per sitting.
