Can I take payments for online widget bookings?

Set up your own specific rules for online widget booking payments.

Customers who book online via your simpleERB widget can be charged for payments or card capture on bookings to assist with decreasing the amount of 'no-shows'.

How it works

Once you have set up your payment integration, you must configure your booking payment/card capture rules within your account settings.

When a customer books online, if a payment or card capture is required for their selected date and time, they will be notified in the blue comment box on the widget.

Requirement: Before providing card details or making a payment, the customer must tick the booking condition boxes to confirm they accept your terms and conditions.

After accepting, the customer is directed to your payment gateway provider (e.g., Stripe or takepayments) to securely complete the transaction. Only after a successful payment or card capture will the customer be directed to the final confirmation page, which includes their booking reference and receipt options.

Note: We currently integrate with Stripe and takepayments. Please be aware that your chosen payment provider will charge a transaction service fee on all processed payments.
