Release Update 16.5

This latest release update consisted of small fixes for minor bug reports, with a focus on improvements to the online waitlist process.

Minor bugs & Small Fixes 

• Cancellation Report - correctly records the user who cancelled the booking in the simpleERB diary.  
• Grid - key icons added to display highchair and children on bookings 
• Review records - fixed to pull recent reviews in the reporting dashboard 
• Booking Totals - when a customer modifies their booking covers, this is now correctly reflected in the daily cover totals 
• Booking status colour - updated to correctly assign the colour keys when a booking status is edited 
• Dark mode - small improvements to colour and text display for visual enhancement 
• PINS - Fixes for disabled usernames with the same active PINs pulling the incorrect name on booking records. Only the active PIN username is recorded. 
• Mobile Diary View - size changes to display full operational buttons 
  

Updates to Waitlist Process 

We have made a couple of improvements to how the online waitlist process works from user reports;  

• Waitlist email notifications are now sent regardless of whether email booking notifications are enabled
• Customer contact details are recorded on waitlist email notifications and the waitlist report
• Waitlist bookings can now be allocated to any table that becomes available without restriction of placed ranking order

Online booking widget - Card & Payment

When an online widget booking requiring card capture times out, a new workflow has been implemented. It now prevents customers from proceeding with the booking process and confirming the booking.

The timeout notification for any booking requiring a card or payment is now more prominent and clearly communicated, ensuring customers are aware the booking process has expired and they must start the process again to complete a booking.
